Arctic Ocean
The Arctic Ocean is bordered by Greenland, Alaska, Russia, Canada, and Norway. The Bering Strait connects the Arctic Ocean to the Pacific, and the
Greenland Sea connects the Arctic to the Atlantic. The Arctic flows down the Greenland Sea into the Atlantic, making the Greenland Current a cold water current. The Arctic Ocean is divided by three submarine canyons. The
Arctic Ocean has the widest continental shelf of all the Oceans, stretching out 750 miles off shore. The deepest point in the Arctic Ocean is around 17,850 feet
deep. The Arctic is covered mostly by floating ice; the floating ice is 2-14 feet in depth!
